A legendary Yamaha YD-9000 Recording Custom drum set! This is an original export model from the Recording Custom series, manufactured in Japan in January 1981 (serial code HH). This series is especially known for its use in studio recordings – a favorite of Steve Gadd, among others – and is an icon in the drumming world.

Shell set sizes:

Made of 100% Hokkaido birch. The set has a precise and focused sound that works brilliantly both on stage and in the studio. The shells are original and in good condition. This is the kind of 80s Yamaha quality that just isn't made the same way anymore.
