Ibanez SR3006E Prestige Soundgear

Clean 6 stringer with Bartolini pickups.

The SR3006E is a six-string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2001. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line. It replaced the similar SR3006

The SR3006E features a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a wenge and bubinga neck with a 24-fret wenge fingerboard with abalone oval position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of IBZ DXP-M(N/B)6 (active) pickup's on the neck and bridge positions, a Mono-rail fixed bridge with 10.8mm string spacing, a Vari-Mid 3-band EQ, a Graphtech Black TUSQ XL nut, Gotoh machine heads and cosmo black hardware.

For 2002 the pickups was change to Bartolini® Custom SR6 passive, and the EQ was replaced for a Vari-mid 3lc 3-band EQ or a Vari-mid Hi Fi EQ for the US market.
