- 自作品 (Ji-Saku-Hin): Meaning "Self-made work" or "Handcrafted work". This confirms the instrument was personally built by the master himself rather than being part of a larger factory line.
- 一九六〇年 (Ichi-Kyu-Roku-Zero Nen): The year 1960.
- 中出 阪蔵 (Nakade Sakazo): The signature/name of the luthier.
Sakazo Nakade (1906–1993) is widely celebrated as the "Father of Japanese Lutherie". In the 1950s, he and his brother Rokutaro traveled to Spain to study traditional Spanish guitar-making techniques under famous masters. Guitars from this specific era (early 1960s) represent the highly sought-after golden era of Japanese vintage classical guitars. They are prized by collectors and players alike for their exceptional, resonant tone, meticulous construction, and historical value.
There is a small crack in the back of the guitar, not affecting the sound or playability. Some nitro overspray here and there.
Old case, with no handle.
