We have gone back to the drawing board with the Wildwood Mjolnir to get it even closer to Zach’s personal Klon Centaur. When the Wildwood Mjolnir was released it was our attempt to make the best “Klone” possible and after getting a real unit we learned so much sonically that we revised the design to closer emulate the tones that were in that fabled silver box. Flash forward to the 2023, we re-evaluated the sonic differences between our Mjolnir and the original unit and decided we could get them even closer sonically and improve production woes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"preFlex flexIn\"\u003eThe Wildwood Edition Mjolnir Overdrive is our attempt to perfectly replicate Zach’s personal silver “Centaur”. It has a beautiful low gain overdrive tone that compresses perfectly and makes your guitar signal just sound bigger. We tried our hardest to match the output, voicing, and feel of the pedals it’s an homage to. The latest 2023 iteration has a slight reduction in low mids, a tuned Treble knob, and Gain \u0026amp; Output taper so that it matches the original units feel. The internal circuit retains the +18V charge pump, NOS Germanium Diodes, and buffered output.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWe find in blind comparisons that it’s almost impossible to tell the latest version apart from the original unit. It’s got a less mids, less overall gain, and a slightly smoother\/darker tone.
