This gem was born on September 29th, 1980. The Heritage Series Production began early in 1980 and ended later in 1982. According to our sources, there were between 2000-3000 of these babies made. Although we may have conflicting information on this matter, most folks agree that 2000 is the magic number.
The Heritage Series Standard 80 may not have been an exact replica of the legendary 1959 Gibson Burst, but it still boasts a solid body with no weight relief or tone chambers.
