"Join me for an in-depth guitar clinic at Tone Fest, where we’ll go beyond licks and into the why behind the sound. I’ll share real tour and studio stories, break down my gear choices and tone-building process, and dive deep into technique, phrasing, rhythm, and musical decision-making."
In January we are privileged to have a world class guitar hero hosting the 2026 first Gallery Sessions.
Pedro Henrique "Kiko" Loureiro is a Brazilian guitarist, born on June 16, 1972, renowned for his work with the heavy metal bands Angra and Megadeth. His career began at age 11, and by 19, he had joined the Brazilian power metal band Angra, with whom he achieved significant success.
In 2015, Loureiro joined the American metal band Megadeth, a move that further elevated his international recognition. During his time with Megadeth, he contributed to the album "Dystopia" (2016), which earned a Grammy Award for "Best Metal Performance." He also co-wrote and performed on the 2022 album "The Sick, the Dying... and the Dead!". In late 2023, Loureiro announced his departure from Megadeth.
Loureiro is celebrated for his exceptional technical skill on the guitar, often demonstrated through techniques like two-handed tapping, sweep picking, and alternate picking. He has also released several solo albums, showcasing his versatility across genres like jazz fusion and Brazilian music.
