Whether you're a fan or not, the oversized headstock and CBS era actually had some hidden gems. Before cost-cutting in the 70's, these guitars left the factory with custom Nitrocellulose finishes and solid 4-bolt necks.
The rosewood fretboard and frets are in excellent condition, and the headstock and decal are still looking sharp. Though the hardware shows some wear, it has not corroded. 5-way switch (original was 3-way untill 1977) and tremolo saddles have been changed.
