Fender Stratocaster Eric Clapton "Blackie" Artist Series 1992

The Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster electric guitar, part of Fender's popular Artist Series, gives the guitar of one of rock's most famous guitarists new life. Modeled after Clapton's '50s Strat, this first run of Clapton Strat sports the same design, including Lace Sensor "Gold" pickups, an active mid boost knob, and a special blocked tremolo fashioned to Clapton's specifications. The Eric Clapton Stratocaster was designed, and designed well, for the ultimate fan.

The guitar has the active mid boost circuit (battery powered, the battery can be found behind the back plate). The looks have lots of mojo and guitar comes in its OHSC. The serial points to 1989, but the black versions started 1991. This dates to 1992. Weight: 3.5 kg.
