This 1958 Strat has seen some stuff... It has been refinished to sunburst by luthier Juha Lottonen. According to the story, the guitar was repainted at the Fender factory at one time, hence the decal that is inappropriate for the era, the story is supported by the number stamp found at the neck joint, which is used to hold the guitar's pieces together.
Body is ash, and the grains are beautifully visible now.
The body has routing for a humbuckers and the neck is at least "very played", it has perhaps the finest profile we have ever come across. Of the pickups, only the front one is original, the others were made to order by www.ocduffpickups.com. The front pickup of course sounds divine, but the replicas are also very good.
Guitar has EKT Steel Baron block with tremolo arm on the guitar. Original tremblock and arm come with the guitar.

"This guitar came to me by chance while I was on a cruise in 2008 on the Viking Isabella. It was on its way to Sweden to be sold, but in the end I ended up with it in the early hours of the morning. It became a good friend for me for years and a cornerstone of my first solo album “Human Being”, on which it can be heard, among other things, in the songs “Lurjus” and “Yö Kasarmilla”. Juha Lottonen later made a ref for the guitar, a time-correct 2-tone burst. The guitar is strongly “player”, meaning it has issues, such as that painting, hukbucker routings and only the front pickup (luckily that’s it!) is original. I ordered the other pickups from https://ocduffpickups.com/ and they fit together very well as a coherent set."

This old strato currently has an Erikoistuote Syvänen block and crank for safe tuning, but the originals are of course also included.
