Fender Precision Bass 1953

Here we have a real tone machine. 1953 Precision Bass with some fixes and mods, so a great player grade instrument you can afford to take to your gigs. We have examined the bass and the findings are listed here:

• Neck marked with pencil to 1953 with initials TG (Tadeo Gomez)
• Headstock repaired and overspray on it
• Original tuners (reverse)
• Refinished body, with 1954 contours made. Refin made by Ad Lib Guitars in Stockholm
• Pencil markings in the neck cavity that have been dug out under old refin. 53 and signature Tadeo
• Pickup seems to be original, but the top bobbin has two holes instead of one in the middle. So we can´t be 100% sure. Output: 6.6 Ohms
• Serial number 1125 stamped in the bridge. The bridge could be repro, cause it doesn´t have the FENDER-text stamped on it
• Both original ashtrays
• Newer tweed hard shell case
• Weight: 4.0 kg

In original condition these instruments are price from 18 000 to 25 000 euros. All the changes and mods have been noticed in the pricing.
