Up for sale: One groovy Cimar SG from the pre-lawsuit 70's era, rocking a 1905 model with all the original fixings - like an openbook headstock, maple neck, and light body.
While it shows some signs of wear and tear, this guitar is in excellent shape for its nearly 50 years of existence. The neck is solid, with just a tiny notch in the upper part that doesn't affect the sound or tuning. Overall, it plays like a dream.
The construction is typical of the early 70's - simple and straightforward. But don't let that fool you, it's not your average middle-of-the-road Japanese lawsuit guitar. In fact, Cimar was the OG who paved the way for the iconic Ibanez brand.
No case. Weight 2.6 kg.
