With the new electro-acoustic Taylor 214ce-K SB, Californian manufacturer Taylor is expanding its 200 series with a guitar with extraordinary appearance and all the advantages of the popular Mexican production. Composed of a solid Sitka spruce top and a laminated koa body, this Grand Auditorium acoustic guitar produces a rich sound that is warm in the lows, powerful in the mid-range and brilliant in the high frequencies. This makes the 214ce-K SB a versatile instrument, suitable for delicate fingerstyle as well as expressive strumming.
Thanks to a flat mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard, the instrument can be easily and comfortably fingered in all 18 frets and, with the help of a generous cutaway, offers the player a clean grip even in the upper ranges. A finely notched nut made of TUSQ with a width of 42.8 mm and a compensated saddle made of Micarta ensure perfect intonation over the entire scale length of 648 mm. Chrome-plated Taylor tuners additionally allow for precise tuning of the 6 steel strings and, in combination with a high-quality Taylor Expression System 2, perfectly round off the instrument. Extraordinary in this version is the chic Shaded Edgeburst finish, which gives the instrument its unique character.
The Taylor 214ce-K SB comes with a sturdy Taylor bag.
