Late John Landgraff started building pedals 1999. He used socketed circuit boards, that helped him to fine tune and voice each and every pedal, resulting in performance unachievable by most other builders using printed circuit boards. This pedals circuit is derived from the famous RAT pedal of 80's
The three controls are: left knob is gain, middle is tone, and right is volume. The 3-way switch in the down position yields a symetrical (smoother) distortion. The up position gives you an asymetrical (more bite & clarity) distortion. The middle position bypasses the clipping diodes so you can use the pedal as a almost clean boost. The pedal uses the standard 9-volt adapter. Unit can also be powered with a 9v. battery.
