Here’s a rare opportunity to buy an electric concert -sized ukulele, designed and handcrafted by the one and only Pete Howlett. Pete is internationally recognised as one of the top ukulele-builders, trusted by legends such as the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain and the classical music superstar Nigel Kennedy.
Pete built few “Ukelectic” electric concert-ukuleles in the late 2010s to private orders only. Each Ukelectic built is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. This one features a stunning bird's eye maple top and headstock, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, Grover tunes. Currently strung in low-G but works just as fine with traditional re-entrant tuning, too. Some minor wear and tear, but nothing serious. Previously owned by a professional player and cared for accordingly. Plays and sounds like a dream.
Body is hollowed from the inside to reduce weight and to improve sound. Also perfect for silent practicing without sacrificing in tonal qualities.
