he VR30R has two switchable channels. The Normal channel is the "clean" channel, with Volume, Bass, and Treble controls. It has a clean and bright tone. The Overdrive channel has Gain, Volume, Bass and Treble controls plus an OD Style switch. OD1 offers a bluesy over drive, OD2 has a "high overdrive" aggressive distortion. A Master Volume and Reverb control complete the control panel. The reverb is based on a traditional spring delay pan.
